3 things to bring health into your home

Here are 3 simple things you can do to bring health in to your home.
1) Get your family involved in planning and cooking meals from the earliest age possible. Have healthy recipe books (preferably with pictures) where your kids can help select the meals.
2) Pick one day per week (or month if you have to) that is a family fitness day. If you have babies, that may be a family stroller walk. With older kids, get out and play soccer or a game of tag. Enjoy nature and go for a hike. Create new family traditions where health is the focus.
3) Kids love to be in charge of something. Give them the honor of being the Green Police. They are in charge of making sure that your family is recycling, turning lights off and using less water.
